January 31, 2025 – Quezon City, Philippines — The Most Holy Rosary Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MHRMPC) proudly took part in the official launching of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025, held at Liwasang Aurora, Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City.
This significant event brought together cooperative leaders and members from various regions including the National Capital Region (NCR), Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and Regions I, II, III, and IV. The launch served as a unifying platform to recognize and celebrate the vital role of cooperatives in driving inclusive economic growth, social development, and community resilience.
With the theme centered on solidarity, shared prosperity, and sustainability, the gathering reaffirmed the commitment of the Philippine cooperative sector to contribute meaningfully to nation-building and global cooperative goals. It also emphasized the collective impact of cooperatives in empowering individuals and transforming lives through values-based and member-driven approaches.
Representing MHRMPC at the event was a proud moment, as the cooperative stood alongside fellow organizations championing cooperative principles and making lasting contributions to their communities. This participation not only reflects the cooperative’s active involvement in the broader movement but also its dedication to promoting unity, empowerment, and shared progress.
As we celebrate the International Year of Cooperatives 2025, MHRMPC remains committed to deepening its role in fostering sustainable development, encouraging participatory leadership, and building a future where no one is left behind.
Let us continue working together—cooperatives empowering cooperatives—to build stronger communities and a better world.
